As usual, our SN dignitary Kung Wu is spot on. Can u dig it? He has expanded greatly since he received that fancy smancy signed basketball he has improved his vast Shocker knowledge right on here SN.

Lots of these areas such as shooting we thought would be strong early on are now evolving and improving more since we have all of our players finally playing now except Shamet. For us to really shine as a team, we must indeed keep developing the inside with the outside and I see progress. Does a hobo like a ham sandwich? Improving both our inside game with this new and improved shooting would be like adding some cheese, pickles, etc. and toasting it.Then throw in some tomato soup, fresh nachos and not stale, and some warm apple pie with ice cream on top. Why does it have to be about food lately with me?

Last but not least, I loved the way Notre Dame would spread the floor last Season and get easy shots or lay ups and if that was not open, drain 3's. With that said, what % were they shooting from there last Season because that would be a nice goal to shoot for?

As for this Season, my hopes are for the Shocks to finish strong from here and peak in March and April when it really counts. Maybe the adversity will turn into another Season to remember? Stay tuned.

Sorry, that's not possible on this planet and in this lifetime. I'm not sure even the Dream Team could have handled that group of Rebels.

Edit: Sorry, Dave -- posted before looking back and seeing your reference to the Dreamers. You beat me to the punch. And yes, I think it's safe to say that the team isn't thinking about this at all, nor will they be allowed to. If Marshall looks inside anyone's head and sees a trace of this type of thinking, there will be sprints out the wazoo (or WSU) to be run.

Following the premise of the original post...

...the team will be about the 10th best team in the country, will be the 7 seed that nobody wants to get matched up with, will play a heck of a game in the round of 32 against a 2 seed that comes down to the final minute, and then... who knows what comes next.

I'm excited about this team, just not National Championship level of excited. Would love to be proven wrong though.
