Of course I was kidding about the 90s. So where will Maurice be? Anywhere? Hmmmm. Jamie Arnold? Perez is top 15 probably. Maybe higher.

But other than some good individual play I've tried to eliminate that decade from my basketball memory.

          Top 10:

          1. Xavier McDaniel
          2. Dave Stallworth
          3. Antoine Carr
          4. Cleo Littleton
          5. Fred Van Vleet
          6. Ron Baker
          7. Cliff Levingston
          8. Cleanthony Early
          9. Warren Armstrong
          10. Cheese Johnson

What do you think? I don't know if Fred or Ron are eligible. I put Cle behind Cliff due to being a transfer. Armstrong is probably too low. I'm not sure if Perez makes the top 15 or not.

That's a nice list. Really can't argue with it at all. Maybe drop Cle a spot or two since he only played 2 years.

so what? Kyles would have started, had much better stats and made much better many of the teams represented by the 81-90. some of those guys would not have even made or been recruited on the teams that Kyles played on. You forget, after 3GS first year, the talent upgrade was dramatic. Kylie's was one of the main reasons we won when he was a senior. Just ask Gregg. Or just go back and watch the games it's obvious. Several of those guys couldn't hold his jock even as it was flying over their heads for another one of his slams or blocking their shot from behind on the break. No, I can only guess that David must have somehow snubbed Bob at some time and this was Bobs way of payback--highlighting him at "100".

I think Cle may have a hard time being in the top 10 due to only playing 2 years. However, that would not mean he won't get a banner as he "qualifies" and being here only 2 years shouldn't matter. I'm not sure what kind of weight should be put on the success of a team. For example, no one from the 2006 team would make it, but that team had great balance. On the other hand, someone like Perez, had he been on better teams, might of been a bigger "star". Just how many Shockers are listed in the top group of so many categories as Perez? Maybe none. Personally, I can't imagine Jason would not have been as big a hero as Baker had he played during this era.

I'm not saying that he shouldn't have been higher. However, all the key players were important to the success of that team. That was a team of balance 1-7. However, if David was soooo important, why didn't he play more minutes than Demetric. Great play should demand minutes. As far as what that team won, it was the regular season title, not the Valley tourney, and it was a one and done against VCU in the Dance, so I'm not sure what you meant by "won".

If Kyles was so bad, why did he play more minutes than Carl Hall? That's just not a good argument. Seven players played between 22 and 29 minutes. There was a ton of competition at the wing guard for minutes with Toure, David, and Ben Smith. So long as Ben Smith and Demetric Williams don't make the top 100 then I guess Kyles can hold that spot.

Randy Burns is up there in quite a few categories as is Jamar Howard. Neither as high as Perez, but very strong all around guys.

I thought about that. Robert Elmore, Toure Murry, Kelly Pete, Cal Bruton, Nate Bowman, Jamie Thompson? Where do one hit wonders Stutz and Ragland fit in?

Some others you leave off. Carrington, Wilson, Paul Miller, Carney, Troegle, Shirley, Ron Washington, and others that I am forgetting right now.

Few of these would be Top 15 however. A couple maybe including Terry Benton.
