I'm sorry but that is just plain unfair to David Kyles. There is no one in that list that should be above him especially not Herrs. I can remember going to many games wondering if any of his threes would fall while Kyles hit dagger 3s made high flying dunks and chased down opponents ahead on fast breaks and blocked their shots. Kyles is also still playing pro ball so... NO huh uh. I wonder if Kyles peed in bobs corn flakes?

He is sabotaged by his numbers. He played on much better teams than did Herrs, that's for sure. David was a total stud. I agree with you totally. I still remember like yesterday him going off at Intrust to start the game. Dang he was hot. Was that against Tulsa?

I would think DK would at least be in the 80s.

I haven't read the article because I don't give BOB clicks. Probably have to consider the source of the article. Didn't he leave Tekele Cotton off of something similar he did a few years ago?

Imagine what numbers Kyles would have had in the 90s. He would have been a focal point on those teams.

Yes, David started against Tulsa at Intrust with a flurry of 3's; if memory serves, six threes. He was dynamite! And those high-flying dunks of his were awesome, some of the best since Jamar Howard. Being ranked at 100 is just too low for him.

DK was my favoite player throughout his career. He'd jump school busses & the epic center during the Shocker Madness dunk contests. Only player as athletic was the all time winningest Shocker. Kyles was one of those players that impressed & left you wanting more, all at once.
In this poll, X should be #1. Ron & Fred are up there. And I hope Tekele is treated like the winningest Shocker that he is.

Ozell Jones only two spots ahead of Darren Miller.

David Kyles is still better than these guys 80-90.

Agreed. And really. Should anybody from the 90s be on the list?

I'd never guessed that Darin was only 54 points short of being in the 1,000 point club.

David was a great athlete of which his overall skills and BBIQ never equaled. Kyles had a good junior season, but was very much a roll player his first two years. In his senior season he dropped back to 5th in scoring (almost 6th) and 6th in minutes played not that far ahead of 7th and seldom started.
