One game where young kids get frustrated and their coach does nothing to calm them down doesn't mean they're "dirty". From what I can tell, they haven't had a game with 20+ fouls all season until now. This game they're going to have 38 called against them.

They're even calling fouls with 1.5 seconds left.

61 of them called in total.

Ridiculous.

They were straight up dirty tonight -- that's all I know. And they had two guys hacking beyond any reasonable explanation.

This game was Uuuuugggglleeeee. WSU was the beneficiary of some home cookin'. Nevada still would have lost, but the excessive amount of fouls made this a hard game to watch and get into.

Amen brotha! It gets old after a while. But that's fans for ya, what can you do? I've always said the day a team goes perfect from the field, gets every rebound, doesn't commit a turnover, gets every 50-50 ball and still loses because of some bad calls, then and only then will I ever say a ref cost a team a game. In other words, it'll never happen. There's always other reason. But.. you can't tell fans that, they see what they wanna see. Nice post!

Nobody lost tonight because of the refs,,, they lost because they fouled,, dint make shots and were just plain ole BEAT

I get what you're saying, the problem with that theory is, if you don't call the first foul, then the fouls get harder and harder and harder, and then you've got an ugly situation on your hands. If a team is stupid enough to foul with 1.5 seconds left in a game they can't win, then that's on the coach. Any coach worth a grain of salt should have his team backing way off by then.

That was an intentional hard hack at Hamilton due to the tie up earlier in which another Nevada player started throwing elbows. Nothing to do with coaching strategy.

Can we just please just get back to my point that Evan Wessel is not a good shooter and therefor should not be in the game until Chaka khan says it's time for him to go in. Please!

I saw someone say it was a 2 game contract but goshockers.com says it's a one game contract. Would enjoy seeing Marcus Marshall and Jordan Caroline again.

We'd of scored 100 if Evan hadn't played, but we would have missed the awesome put back dunk by Shaq. Everyone knew that shot wasn't going to fall, but Shaq swooped in and slammed it!

The great wall of Shaq was alive, well and in effect tonight. Shaq is back. 2 of their players flew into him, he did not budge, and they flew backwards. I like the 'kiss off the glass' he is using on the angle shots. If we continue to develop our inside game in solid fashion, we will be very, very good this Season on both sides of the court.
