RK, is 1 for 7 from behind the arc this year and about half of those (it seems like) were air balls. McDuffie is 6-14 this year. I am not necessarily recommending that lineup but you were talking about how to space the floor on offense.

Maybe I'm mis remembering him hitting more (mixing up with ZB probably). McDuffie would be great on the offensive end. Not sure on defense at the 4

I think training is so much better now that the best players in the 50's and 60's couldn't compete with the best players today if they time travelled to today's game. If you could bring back Wilt, or Bill Russell, or whoever and have them grow up with today's training, though, they'd still be some of the best of all time. Even aside from training, the game is just so much more complicated today than it used to be. Players today have to know so many offensive and defensive schemes, and coaches have more knowledge than ever before.

To relate this back to the topic at hand, I believe the best college teams today are better than the best college teams around 1990-1992.

After tonight, Rauno will be 4 for 10 on the season. *Crosses fingers*

4 for 7 tonight, huh? Now you are an optimist. Not sure I particularly like the dynamic of being in a position where Rauno is able to take 7 treys. That's getting into Ron Baker territory on attempts.

I took my medicine and Shocked Coach Marshall and Mike.

That would be 3 for 3 tonight, plus 1 for 7 previous would be 4 of 10.

I got confused. I was thinking RK was RN in your post. What I meant was maybe, just maybe Rauno can hit 3 for 3 somehow and make his 1 of 7 into 4 of 10.... RK's 1 of 7... I need to post less...

                  • I revise my prediction.

                    103-64 Shockers.
                    And in AZ Shocker fashion...
                    Connor goes for 20.
Brummett throws, STRUCK HIM OUT! THE SHOCKERS ARE NATIONAL CHAMPIONS! AN UNBELIEVABLE STORY!

                    • I went to look at the UNLV Board to see what they're saying about the game tonight. A whopping 13 posts on the matchup. I guess I overestimated their fanbase. Not to mention the thread title misspelled Wichita.

                      • Interestingly, the line has moved to -7.5. A lot of late money coming in on WSU.

Does that mean we got more traffic on our board from their fans than they get on their own board?

Wow. In the face of one of their best potential road wins in a while, 13 posts -- maybe 26 if we give them their posts on here back. Sure you aren't looking at Phog.net?

That's because on Rebel-Net, most of the action is over on the Confidential Board and not on the Tark Board.
