Based on what I know, I would think a full-time student could get a master's degree in roughly a year. It might take a summer session full-time, but I believe it could be done.
It took me a year to get halfway to my MBA at Washout U. in one year. I worked full time. If I had continued on that track instead of moving to Texas, I would have been done in another year.

I don't necessarily agree with the coach on this one. Here, let me help you.....
Shaquille Morris

Shaq is hitting 46.7% from the field, Evan is hitting 33.3. He's hitting 87.5% of his free throws. Wessel is 0. Shaq's scoring average is MORE than Wessels in roughly half the minutes. Wessel is getting .7 more rebounds in TWICE the minutes.
Why did we lose three games in Orlando? Crappy shooting. Evan's not helping us there. If Evan doesn't pick it up, we'll continue to lose until we get some firepower back. Again, I like his hustle and the fact that he's a glue guy, but right now we need offense.
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over and hoping for a different result. The lineup needs a bit of a shakeup until we get Fred and Connor back. Evan isn't cutting it. Look at the stats. Our only players with worse shooting percentages are Bush Wamukota, JRS and Rauno.
And I'm not necessarily on the Shaq bandwagon.
PS: Please don't mention the intangibles he brings. If he were bringing those intangibles, why'd we go 0 for 0rlando?
Don't get me wrong. I don't like having a 0 offense player as our best option, and I think Wessel will eventually get bench duty once we are healthy and the underclassmen improve. We DO need more points. But we also need to avoid making mistakes. Shaq makes mistakes at a far higher clip than Wessel, objectively, and that isn't even talking about his defensive lapses and just looking at TOs and fouls. He could probably score twice what Evan will, but that extra four points gets negated with 2 TOs, or letting his man go around him twice, or fouling 3-4 times. And this stage, all of those will happen if Shaq gets 20+ MPG.

Don't get me wrong, I love Evan. Great kid. Wichita and WSU through and through. That is something to be applauded.
That said, he doesn't bring a whole lot in terms of benefits in high-level NCAA Division 1 basketball. On defense, he's too slow to guard a typical small forward and too small to guard a typical power forward. He can't get to the basket or create his own shot, and hasn't proven he can hit the 3 on a consistent basis.
Mark Adams says he's a "winner" and you bring up a great point. It's a nice coincidence that he has happened to play with Fred VanVleet, Ron Baker, and Cleanthony Early (in the undefeated season) during his career here at WSU. That doesn't make him a winner that brings some crazy intangibles, that makes him a player who happens to have been on some really good teams."In God we trust, all others must bring data." - W. Edwards Deming

Wessel is averaging 1.5 fouls per game. Shaq 1.8. If Shaq played twice as much, he'd have slightly over 3.5. He'd also be averaging 9 points or so per game and 4 rebounds per game. Turnovers are about even Evan has .8, If Shaq was getting Evan's minutes he'd be at 1.2. You can't tell me who plays the better defense because you aren't quoting any defensive statistics (hint, I don't believe they are available at this time, if at all).
In other words, you have nothing except what you want to see (or make up). Here's a good made-up statistic that I've observed. No one sets better screens than Shaq does (on this team). How many points is that worth a game? When you can set a screen that absolutely flattens the opposing player, it's an open jump shot. I bet he'd be good for two or three of those per game.
Note that I'm perfectly open to your notion if you can provide us with some objective evidence, which you have not as of yet.

Sure there are legitimate concerns about whether or not he should be starting. It's just ridiculous to act like you have this argument that stops all counter-arguments surrounding intangibles. It's identical to me saying "Ron Baker shouldn't be our starting point guard because he isn't a good court leader. P.S. Don't even mention his production because if he were truly bringing production, why'd we lose every game in Orlando?"

And since certain folks seem to like Evan-bashing so much.....another objective note:
Evan Wessel has a career shooting and career 3PT shooting % higher than one Conner Frankamp.
Evan Wessel is a better shooter than Conner Frankamp. The stats said so.
