Just a food for thought moment..but I dont think having even Fred Van Vleet on this current team makes a national contender that most on here, including myself, had dreams about before this season started...that is no knock on Fred, Ron, or Evan...but I think our bench is being exposed and so is our sophomore class...I really hope I have to eat crow for this statement, but I think we are at best the same team as last if not worse...I really hope a Van Vleet, Frankamp, Baker, Wessell, Bush starting five add to that Kelly, Brown, McDuffie, Morris and Nurger...I dont see Taylor ever playing much if our guards stay healthy...pending Grady gets healthy, this squad is a Sweet 16 team, but matchups can change everything, but at this point lets just get in and dance...but I think the team and its fans had big dreams that I just dont see, even with a healthy Van Vleet...Grady was suppose to change the game, although he hasnt had a healthy Van Vleet to play with, still is a question mark, even after healthy...I getting my bowl of crow ready...GOSHOXComment

If I may say so, We will be okay. As much as today's game was very frustrating. I know in my years of being a Shocker fan we have the talent to turn this around. Stay positive Shocker faithful. Back in the summer when coach said we might be getting news "that will blow the roof off"...I believe he was talking about possibly landing the 7 ft. Aussie player. Not Grady. I know some national articles were written about Grady being a great pick-up for the SHOCKERS...but thus far it doesn't seem he's going to help us against taller bcs teams in the tourney.FINAL FOURS:

For all the hate on our post game, please keep in mind that our bigs don't have FVV feeding them the ball. There is a world of difference between a guard passing a ball like a firecracker directly at a big than a true PG reading the play and throwing a _leading_ pass inside. Our bigs are having bullets thrown at them with their backs to the basket, then getting smothered by double teams. FVV reads what the bigs have available and then communicates it with a leading pass.
