    By a mile?

Exuberance plus, but I understand your perspective.

The season is early and Shamet still has to prove himself, but I've not seen a freshman that has this level of athleticism and skill play with such poise on both ends of the court. He's aggressive and mistake free. Red-shirt Ron Baker and Toure Murry are the closest.

      • Just an observation, and to each their own, but why are people worried about our lineups next year when we still have 39 games left this season?

I'm always miffed by that one too. We're in an actual realtime season now. Why in the world would you be losing sleep over next year's lineup? Enjoy the moment.

          ... No really, deuces.

Because it's entirely possible to enjoy the ride and look forward to the next one all at the same time.

But, but, but my wife has told me all these years I can't do more than one thing at a time.

Not having ever heard of Oscar Robinson I will go with Landry Shamet on this one.

Who will call in and ask Mike this important question?

Doesn't the Big O still hold the single game scoring record in the Roundhouse? I suppose when somebody breaks that record he can claim superiority over Oscar.

What's the number to beat? I know it's gonna be painful, but I gotta know. Was it 70-something?

Antoine (47) and Dave (46) have come close. However, the way the game is played today and the depth of talent on good teams tends to work against individual scoring records being broken.

                          • Oscar was and still is, the most complete player to ever play the game.

I loved watching the Big O; as for the most complete player I will take Wilt.
