1 - That game is early
2 - If GW wins today, loses tomorrow, WSU might finish ahead of both St Joe's and GW.

Either result in GW vs St. Joe's has pros and cons.

        • Must say I am also pulling for Tennessee. Don't want anybody to have any reason to move LSU into their brackets. They're just dangerous enough to get through that weak ass SEC tourney.

Doesn't really matter how secure you feel, it's always best to root for whatever gives the Shocks the best odds to get in regardless of if I think they already are in. Would be dumb to root for a possible bid stealer or for someone to push the bubble tighter.

I think the point @HenryMuto: was making was that anyone concerned about the Shox being on the bubble should root accordingly, but...

If you feel Lunardi is correct and WSU is an 8 seed, then you want to root for teams like St. Joe's to lose even it it helps GW get in. If WSU is truly as safe as Lunardi says, GW can't catch them, and St. Joe's falling closer to the bubble might help WSU keep their 8 or move up to a 7.

This is no different than last year where we were all rooting for possible 5-8 seeds to lose to bubble teams, not caring what it meant to the bubble because WSU wasn't on the bubble.

IMO I'm going to root for potential bid stealers to lose. I'm not comfortable enough to say i think we are solely in an "improving seed" position. I'd rather lose a seed or two than not get in at all.

I feel much the same. I'm maybe more confident we are in the tourney, but I am less confident we couldn't get pushed into going to Dayton.

                            • St. Joe's beats GW, which was probably good since the Hawks probably would have barely stayed in the field with a loss, and the Colonials may have just hopped over the cut line with a win. Status quo remains in place.
