Basketball can be hard to predict sometimes, NotreDame losing to Montouth and Alabama yet beating Iowa. Xavier is for real, at least at this point of the season. Illinois State playing Kentucky and Maryland tough but being man-handled by lesser teams. Shows how tough it is to be consistent in college basketball. Long season, and there will be ups and downs, the Shocks are in there down cycle and it's been quite awhile since we've been here, hopefully it will be a short one

You're right, and I'm not discrediting his skill or ability, but after hearing that he wouldn't play pick up with our guys while he was here without being signed, and then the few minutes I've seen, it just looks/feels like he'll never have the heart/determination I'd like to see. Even when our young guys struggle majorly, I still haven't felt like their was a lack of desire to put in the effort (other than one sophomore). I could be off base, and he may prove me wrong, but that's just how I feel right now. I'm not sure that lack of "heart" isn't partially responsible for him not receiving an offer from WSU.

      • Wasn't 'One and Doner' Ben Simmons supposed to lead LSU to the promise land? Is the coach of CofC our former assistant Earl Grant? And didn't he find Tekele Cotton?

I think that this is who recruited Tekele to WSU, not Grant.

            Bears playing USU closely, early.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

You forgot to mention that it's in a jam-packed JQH Arena.

Bears looking like the best of the three Valley games. Only trailing by 1 at halftime.

                    Deuces Valley.
                    ... No really, deuces.

                    • 10 turnovers in the first 8 minutes for Maryland. Most overrated team in history.

                      • Bears lose by one. Up by one, fouled USU's Rector with 3.3 seconds. Rector drained both freethrows. Bears should have won. 5hey played well.

                        • Missouri Valley goes 1-3 tonight. Biggest surprise was Missouri State playing strong against Utah State. Biggest dissappointment, Indiana State losing to Eastern Illinois.

Evansville plays a SWAC for a 31 point win.

                          Bradley is Bradley.

That's all? I think he's had three in about the last 2 minutes.

The guy also had 23 points on 8-14 shooting along with 12 assists. After a sloppy first 10 minutes he played a heck of a game. You are kidding yourself if you don't think he's a very very good player.
