    I wouldn't say they've been egregiously screwed, but it's a little screwy.

Illinois State is a tough team to figure out so far this season. Got blown out by TCU and South Dakota State, yet they hung with Maryland and now Kentucky. I'll be happy if they can stay within single digits in the second half.

I predict you won't be too happy

You just described Illinois State every year for the past like 4 years.

I guess that's what happens when half your team leaves every year.

            • But Tyler Ulis isn't playing for UK. Calipari is probably getting paid too much for these kind of halves. He should probably be fired. Does Barry like the bluegrass state?

              • Two guys I haven't seen in this game are Humphries and Mulder. How's that UK commitment working out for you guys?

                • What I've learned so far. Redturds are good at fouling hard, that's about it.

I'm glad we got McDuffie rather than Mulder.

Couldn't agree more. I'm pretty sure I'm going to be glad we got Hamilton instead of Humphries too.

Humphries + Hamilton would have been sweet. Woulda, coulda, shoulda.

Meh, I'm not sure. After the few minutes I've seen him on the floor, I'm not as impressed with Humphries as I was when watching his high school videos.

                          • A lot of UNI fans disguised as purple seats. UNI up by 3 over North Texas 16 minutes left second half. On ESPN3

They play up and down to their competition. Basically a totally undisciplined team. This should translate to about a .500 type season. Bad news is they'll get up for WSU and blow their load against us.

                              ... No really, deuces.

Not to pick on you specifically because many of US have done it, but how many times have we justified our own players not playing as impressive in their first handful of games as their HS or Juco video. How many times have WE said "it takes half a season, or more with some players, to gain traction with the offense, defense, etc...". Just sayin.
