I can't believe how many violations there were....Mason was clearly too close, touched the ball OOB (technical I think) Touched the ball, landed a foot OOB, was the first one to touch the ball (violation #3 or 4) and THEN I believe he traveled.

Most definitely.

All are correct, but you only need to establish one foot in bounds to touch the ball again.

The foul count was 13-5 in the first half....

I never said these were homer refs, just that it was such an obvious call that even homer refs would feel they have to make it

Still waiting for a resident official to speak on the apparently obvious violation on the out of bounds play. They're always quick to jump in when they think the officials were right, what about now?

All that being said, both teams fouled the hell out of each other in overtimes 2 and 3.

Must be an overnight middle school jv girl's church tournament that they are reffing at. You wouldn't understand.. Or even be qualified to try to judge

I know you're suppose to get 3 feet, but f*#% 3 INCHES would have been nice.

I'll agree with that. Lots of sloppy play. I'm really surprised how no one got subbed out really. There had to be some fresh worthy legs on the bench

That or they're searching for a video with an angle that leaves some doubt as to how obvious the call was to everyone that isn't an official.

OUs biggest problem (and usually a problem under HCLK) is that they tend to result to playing YMCA offense.

Great defense and great athletes, but they need to improve their half court offense for sure.

Again, can't say how much I like Buddy Hield. Hell of a player and hell of a young man.

That was my point...Mason deflected the pass (after fouling Buddy, and touching the ball in his hands) then a foot landed on the OOB line, then he was the only one to touch the ball. Then he traveled.
