I guess if the bubble field has 50 teams in it, then I guess you'd be right.
    Deuces Valley.
    ... No really, deuces.

      But still couldn't beat Loyola.

They finish with 4 of 6 on the road. Ain't happening.

I forgot about losing to Loyola. You're telling me the 4th place big east team that just beat Xavier also lost to a Thursday Valley team approaching 300 levels of incompetence at the time? :)

And yeah, I'm not saying they are an NCAA team this year. I don't think they are at all. I just didn't think McD was ever even going to field a reasonable team again. Of course, if they go 2-4 down the stretch, they may work themselves back to the other side of the top 100 again. I'll be really happy to watch UNI beat them out of the CBI this year.

        • At the risk of getting flogged, I will give you a fair assessment of Creighton. They are a pretty good team. Not a great team, not an elite team, but good enough to beat anyone, with just enough holes to lose to anyone, too. In all fairness, they are far ahead of where anyone thought they would be. Seeing them play in person and watching dozens of Valley games, Creighton would finish second or third in the Valley.

Creighton is not on the bubble, it would take a miracle to even get to the bubble, but they are a very good NIT, not CIT team. Now, back to the bashing.
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

          • I hope Creighton makes the tourney and we get to play them in the 1st round, it mean a automatic win for us

Next year with Foster (Transfer from K-State) and Patton ( redshirt 4star big) the fans will be expecting to make the dance. 2017 looking good with two 4 star top 100 guards in Alexander and Ballock. We'll see how we close this year, lets hope sometime soon we get paired up somehow....miss St. Louis but not going to Terra Haute or Evansville.

Foster was addition by subtraction for KState from what I've heard from numerous solid sources. What makes you think he's changed?

Not that I'm arguing with you, I just found that marriage to be odd.

Its been too long since Creighton had P'Allen Stinnet. Now they have P'Allen Foster. I dunno?

It's important to pause for a moment to see if there are any facts to discuss, but that doesn't mean I can't return to the bashing afterwards. Even if Creighton was #1, I would still find some way to say they are terrible.

                    • If Temple, Georgetown, Saint Bonaventure, Texas Tech, Georgia and Kansas State are on the bubble then Creighton is as well. I highly doubt they will get in but they just need a couple more big wins and they have a great shot.

                        • UNI has put up 27 points in the first 8.5 minutes of their game with MSU. They are 6-8 from 3 and lead 27-13.

                          • Interesting that the ESPN 3 Southern Illinois / Indiana State game has a picture of Ron Baker attached.

Also, coverage of K-State / Baylor delayed by a double OT game between Tulane and East Carolina. Hate that.
