In 2014 they went 24-10 lost to several very bad teams including 11-21 South Carolina late in the year had no big road wins and was an 8 seed. Again I doubt they make that kind of run again but who knows. Not many expected it in 2014.
I agree too. Just hope we don't come across you guys till at least sweet 16.

      • I understand that some of these teams are overrated but this just goes to show that no win can be taken for granted. ISU gives up a 15 point lead, UK gives up a 21 pt lead and Providence just crapped the bed.
One quick note before we present the rankings: With Wichita State’s move to the American Athletic Conference, the Shockers have moved out of the mid-major club. We wish the Shockers well against Cincinnati, UConn, SMU, and more.

Not. Even. Close to the same quality of team.

            • I guess you can call this parity. Kentucky has some talent, but by no means are they as good or deep as they have been in the past. Really if Kentucky could shoot freethrows they beat the Beakers up north. Tennessee winning keeps things in perspective for people who really know basketball and are not swayed by the jersey on someone's back.

              • no randle or cauley-stein (who was really only 100% against the shox in that tournament) on this uk team. that team was a b!tch to handle down low.

Poythress, Lee, Skal couldn't hold a candle to those guys. And I'd take the Harrison twins over anybody other than Ulis in their backcourt.

Correct @ShockdaWorld:, however @HenryMuto: does admit this year's team is not as talented. If I was Henry, I'd be concerned this team is more like the 2012-13 team. That team was 17-6 at one point.

Everybody says that. Doesn't it seem that a well coached and disciplined team would play similarly under home or away conditions?

So, shouldn't a reasonable metric of being a good team be if your away and home records are somewhat close? Which of the big stats guys do that?

A smart man would think that.

                          • As the first half winds down, UNI is up 29-22 over UE. Yes, road games are hard, but I suspect the Aces are going to fade due to a lack of depth.
