  • Dayton lost to LaSalle. Baylor won at Iowa St.

If enough damage can take place in the 15-35 range of the rankings, WSU might start showing up. You can bet people are watching us right now in that regard. This was a pretty big week for WSU and we swept it.

    • By the way, LaSalle is BAD... #270

They beat Loyola today. They may not be a Thursday team if this keeps up. Watch out Redbirds because if MoSt avoids Thursday, it's you :)
Or what is the deal with Loyola. They have not been as good as I expected.

          • It will be interesting to see if our buddies at USC can hold onto that 8 pt lead they have at halftime over #7 Arizona.

Didn't Seton Hall also beat Villanova though? I know they boat raced Marquette on the road. My point is that if this is happening a lot to Seton Hall, it isn't good. However, as someone pointed out, young teams do lay eggs or worse. Consistency is what makes teams great. During our NIT Championship year, and during our NCAA Final Four year, our players had games where we didn't show up and we finished up both years with great runs.

This changed during our undefeated year, and last year where we had a great run all year.

                • Watching the UNLV at Wyoming game and there was a play similar to the controversial play in the last couple of minutes versus Evansville the other night. In this case a UNLV player grabbed a rebound and there was an obvious foul on the Wyoming player to knock it out of his hands but it went off of the UNLV player. There was no foul called on the play though. Even after replay the refs still gave the ball to UNLV even though it obviously was out on the UNLV player. In this case it seems the refs decided to go against the replay evidence and award the ball to UNLV to make up for the missed foul call.

                  UNLV still lost 59-57
Shocker fan for life after witnessing my first game in person, the 80-74 win over the #12 Creighton Bluejays at the Kansas Coliseum.

I saw that. I think both the referee and UNLV are in trouble. The refs because they didn't give the ball to Wyoming. UNLV because their season is going down the toilet.

I've been a UNO fan for years!
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.
