Evansville and UNI won't do any worse than normal. It's not like refs are gonna allow the foul disparity to be 30 between 2 teams.

I wish I had been able to see Duncan's face -- he had to be at least chuckling at that exchange.

Like some others, I believe we'll be completely fine. Our players play good defense without slapping, holding, and all that junk. And they rarely draw charges*.
Like kai mentioned, it will hurt undersized, less skilled, less athletic teams (none of which we really have to worry about, as last year's Wisconsin and Kentucky aren't in our way this year). It will also hurt a lot of Big Ten teams who like to turn games into a rugby match (I'm looking at you, Michigan State).
The freedom of movement will do a lot more to increase efficiency and scoring than decreasing the shot clock will. Jay Bilas and his ilk basically used the bully pulpit to enact this change and I'm not a huge fan of the 30 second clock.
*Somewhat related, charges are the most annoying thing about college basketball and it rewards a secondary defender flying in at the last minute to jump under a ball-handler who already got himself an open lane to the basket. Now, granted, guys who barrel into their primary defender should be whistled for a foul, but this secondary defender jumping in and playing what I like to call "Duke" defense is awful (and potentially dangerous)."In God we trust, all others must bring data." - W. Wichita St. is KNOWN for it's BIG-TIME DEFENSE and AGGRESSIVE "box-out" rebounding. Wichita St. returns a veteran team that WILL BE competing for a National Championship. Wichita St. has EVAN WESSEL. Wichita St. is a REAL threat to dismantle the "shoe contract" paradigm.
OF COURSE the rules will be changed this year. Lest not us forget the "powers that be" know EXACTLY how to protect the "shoe contracts".

This rule will hurt the Shox the way making a golf course longer hurts Tiger Woods.
On the surface, you say, well yeah it does make it harder for Tiger Woods.
Then you realize.
It hurts the whole field, and being able to hit the ball long makes the impact on him the least.
The Shox are a good defensive team. These rules will hurt the poor defensive teams much more than the Shox."When life hands you lemons, make lemonade." Better have some sugar and water too, or else your lemonade will suck!
