Today's updated poll has Shockers out of Top 25, no big surprise but the other numbers are somewhat shocking: RPI 257 SOS 128 ... Time to Play Angry!

21-8 gets RPI back to mid-40's
23-6 gets RPI back to mid-20's

We lost to three teams will all have a strong schedule and will have a good RPI. It is futile to follow RPI's at this time of year.

Right now we're holding the Valley down (that's something new) good to see SIU and UNI playing pretty decent. I think as a whole the league is looking a little bit stronger. Along with some quality wins we have some quality losses. We need to close out the OOC strong and get ready for league play

I see KU jumps up to No.2 after their 6 point blowout win at home over Harvard.

Of course, they'll always be No.2 in my eyes.

I'm not really sure why UNLV isn't ranked, actually. They have wins over #13 Indiana, #15 Oregon, and their only loss was by 2 to the team that beat Kentucky handily. Sure, the rest of the schedule is some crap, but who cares when you won them all and you've played 3 Top 30 teams?

My biggest concern about KU as of right now is when UK comes to their building to play. Any chance the Phug just implodes so both teams can lose?

They're in a similar situation to where we were not too many years ago. Go out there and get to about 25-2, and then we'll consider you as a rankable team. They've got no name value.

I can't believe they haven't been ranked #1 and won national titles for each of the last three seasons with all that talent @rebel lover: says they have. I still can't figure out how they could possibly have been about .500 and hovering on the outer edge of NIT level RPI around 100ish with players so good. It just doesn't make sense does it? Its a mad world...
I don't know WHAT we're gonna do Wednesday night. I just hope our team can stay within 20 and avoid wanting to hang it up altogether for the season. After all, UNLV's undefeated team would have beaten ANY Shocker team EVER by that margin. We are hosed. I'm ready to forfeit.
