I snagged one of my favorite spots, second row of the upper deck in the $12 zone, section 212 I believe. Well, actually $21 each once all the "convenience" fees were added in. First few rows of the upper deck, either on the side or in the corners are pretty good seats at a great price. Glad I was able to get them! Tickets are moving fast.

I agree. I would much better have those seats than the lower bowl corners and behind the baskets. Especially, deep in the corners and behind the baskets.

I guess I disagree. It's a third party venue. I don't necessarily agree season ticket holders should be given first dibs on the 11,000 best seats. The idea behind IBA is to sell more tickets (15,000 vs 10,000) then Koch, bring in larger quality teams (teams that don't want to play in the great atmosphere that is Koch Arena), expose more media coverage through ESPN, and expand Shocker basketball. Season ticket holders by definition have a lock on games at Koch. I have more complaints about that than the one game at IBA. There's a guy on craigslist selling 2 season tickets for $9,500. Road and Neutral site games give the non-season ticket holder (but many are just as loyal) the opportunity to catch a game in person. I don't think fans trying to do what they can to get tickets are cheating or being unfair to "people in line who have faithfully supported the university and athletic department." I think WSU and IBA need to get rid of this 4 day, tiered pre-sale process they have had the last few years and open it up. If they want a one day pre-sale for all season ticket holders the day before, then that would work much better than this 4 day thing.

I see your point, except that this is a return game versus Utah which would have normally been part of the Koch arena season ticket package; as such, it is just not the same as any other neutral site or away game.

How about doing a presale in person only the evening before they go public. Could make for one great Shocker party on the plaza at IBA!

I am a free market guy, but I sure would like to see WSU exercise their free market abilities and tell whomever is doing that they are no longer needed as a supporter.

Anyone with the bones to order early doesn't need to make 100 on 10 tickets.

BTW, these tickets are now $328 each. This is wrong on many levels. Shame on you - whoever you are. Suck it.

Hard to know for sure what's left without the map seat selector, but based on a few searches there is still a good selection in the $27 and $22 lower bowl seats. Rough guess would be that they sold ~500-600 more so far today.

Overall good news for the Friday and Saturday faithful. There may be a few clumps available in the lower bowl when public access kicks off.

It was there yesterday but gone when the sale opened up this morning. Strange.

I realize the NCAA for RPI issues considers it a home game. I was referring to the finance/economics of the deal. WSU and Utah both receive flat fees from a promoter to play the game. WSU doesn't have control over ticket prices, doesn't make all the money off concessions, etc. Thus, IBA and the promoter don't care about season ticket holders, but making cold hard cash.

It is WSU choice to play at IBA. I don't care about the financials of what WSU does for this game. What I care about as a SEASON TICKET HOLDER is I get to attend the best game of the non-conference season at fair price with a decent seat. WSU is able to gouge and thumb their noses at season ticket holders now - but it doesn't make it right they are throwing season ticket holders under the bus.

As both a corporate sponsor and a season ticket holder, it was disappointing to find only $27 tickets left when it came time to buy them with our code. The system for this game is flawed and has been. Changes need to be made. Don't know what it will take, but I feel like no one is listening. The same abuses were there last year.

I agree, the only way to do it is have a 1 day presale. Give the season ticket holders the code a day or 2 in advance and make it a free for all. Ticket brokers are a "problem" for all successful programs. Hell a large chunk of KU season ticket holders have probably never even set foot in their arena...they buy them for the only purpose of selling them. I know a guy who has 2 season tickets, has never been to a game and doesnt even like sports...lol

my passcode was "*****"... didn't take a rocket scientist to realize that the top password was "********".. I had that figured out when I got the letter in the mail. the athletic department needs to do a better job with this by requiring that we share our saso identification number and/or drivers license and the passcode. until then.... 👍🏼
