Coach said they pulled Arbry Butler off the trash heap and got him eligible over the summer, but he flunked out again after the 1st semester.

Had not heard that before. Probably just missed it.

I thought I heard the same thing.

Jim spent a "Good deal of time", appx 1/2 the following game, discussing our game against Indiana State with Jim Bain, Director of Officials for the MVC.

Marshall spent quite a bit of time with him too. I hope something comes from it. I noticed JS spent a lot of time afterwards as well. Wish I was closer to that action.

Well several points I got from applebees. HCGM said Gal has the chance to decide for himself wether he is staying or leaving. Some good recruits we haven't signed yet. Marshall (actually Mrs Marshall) will be careful what color ties he weres next year and she said she is looking for a gold suit. The weather in Charleston is humid. Towards the end of the show, a young (maybe 10 or 12 year old) boy walked up to HCGM to inform him how big of a Creighton fan he was. HCGM told him it was alright and he still had a chance for succes in life. I called the kid a jackass.
HCGM appears excited about next season and really really excited about the season to follow. Any other questions and you can pm me.

Marshall did stick around to shake some hands and talk with his family, including his in-laws who apparently live in Wichita. He then took his fahter-in-law and one son back to Koch Arena for a 7:30 workout or something. Maybe there is a juco game tonight.

He told me on the way out "Well, that was an interesting show." My little one told him his favorite line from the Disney movie "Cars" - "You rock and you know it!" He laughed and said, "Thanks Buddy!"

The way I heard it , coach would be meeting will all the players in the next 2 weeks and discussing options ,, not making any decisions , ( just the way I heard it )
