I believe the criteria was that all teams had to be 9 seeds or worse and UNI was an 8 seed that year, beating 9 UNLV in the first round.

Kenpom shows them as a nine seed. They probably needed to win another game as they got bumped in the next round. I loved Ali's interviews in Omaha this year.

They wouldn't be in that one either because in order to "flop" there had to be some high expectations. Everyone knows Creighton will be out immediately. Flopping is what the high seeded big 12 always does. Meeting low expectations is what Creighton does.

I think a realistic poll for Creighton could be an "All One-and-Done NCAA tourney program"

They actually might be the frontrunner statistically. Or maybe they could win the "Mid Major program that achieved the most success riding one player's career"

Although, Indiana State might still be able to beat them at that one.

Well they were a 3 seed in Doug's final year. I would think they all had some high expectations, but still lost in the 2nd round. I call that a flop.

But that's only one case where there would be high expectations I guess.
