Does anybody else have one of these? 12 yr old me caught a perfect spiral from a Shocker cheerleader in 1964. I wish I could remember who the opponent was.
One quick note before we present the rankings: With Wichita State’s move to the American Athletic Conference, the Shockers have moved out of the mid-major club. We wish the Shockers well against Cincinnati, UConn, SMU, and more.

I had one of those footballs as a kid. I loved it. I think they threw those out at more than one game. Mine came from a game against Northern Illinois. My grandpa got it and gave it to me.

OK I would love to have a question answered. Back in the day when you purchased a soft drink at football or basketball games they came in a yellow heavy plastic/souvenir cup and with Shocker logo. After the games kids would swarm the arena to pick up the ones left behind. Why don't they still have these. I mean they were so good a young couple could go to a game and have a starter set of glass ware for Thanksgiving and Christmas Dinners:)

If you're not still drinking everything from a glorious faded-Wu logo'd yellow plastic cup, you did the 90s wrong.

I have 5 unused 1981 Battle of New Orleans Cups from the Campus Activities Center. Will post picture later.

Looking for 7 bucks apiece for them as there probably isn't too many new in perfect condition cups around.

Hmm, none of you majored in photography or took basic computer courses in the 70s I see.

Edit: on mobile, the images appear normal. On desktop, the images were upside down. Strange.

I don't know. They're still upside down on my iPad. Maybe it's me who can't operate the computer

I agree. Doesn't matter what event I go to if they have a souvenir cup I buy it. I've got quite the collection of them. Even a couple sCUm ones. But the only major sporting event I've been to that doesn't have them is WSU games. Someone get WSU to start offering them. I would think the extra price charged for them would pay off.

A souvenir cup with WSU on it gets used over and over again. Keeps the brand out there. There is no such thing as bad advertising.

I have a promotional products company, and this is absolutely true. I could get yellow cups with black print, black cups with yellow print, white cups with yellow and black print, etc. The trouble comes with licensing. Number 1, I think (but haven't looked into it at all) that seller must be licensed to sell the items, but doesn't the manufacturer have to be licensed as well? Number 2, I don't know enough about it, other than it has to be done. Number 3, I know a lot of people sell unlicensed products, but I won't be one of them. Number 4, if what I've heard about the cost for licensing, I'd have to be selling a lot more than a few plastic cups to make it worthwhile.
