    Perception takes a HELL of a long time to change. National perception regarding programs doesn't change just because you have the better team for a few years. The Lakers' national perception is miles beyond the Warriors, even though the Lakers have been trash for several years now.

    We could drub Kansas by double digits once a year for the next ten years straight and Kansas would still have a greater national perception than us.
    Huh? National perception is that the Lakers are a joke. Maybe there are some average Americans who don't follow the NBA at all, who still wear the hats and remember the good days. But anyone who knows anything about basketball understands how terrible the lakers are right now.

      Conclusion: Current evidence shows that teens/young adults are at risk when they use modern day marijuana. While I wish that Colorado could guarantee that only adults that are not at risk would be able to use but reports from Colorado also seem to show that the attitudes that marijuana is harmless is increasing it's use with younger teens.

          OK, I'm 22, but I'm going to pretend you didn't make the age comment just to be a dick. Moving on.

          Your (inaccurate) concern is useless until I see you on the forefront pushing for the prohibition of alcohol and tobacco. Until then, you're a hypocrite.

          I knew kids getting DRUUUUUNK when I was like 14, dude. Nobody freaks out about that.

            You may also want to consider that a legal, government regulated dispensary will care about not selling to underage citizens. The black market doesn't care how old you are, they just want the $40 in your pocket.

                I apologized I missed your age by several years. I always worry about a world that will include my kids, grandkids, etc. Legalized drugs of all kinds seem to be on the horizon. As it was pointed out, legalized marijuana was supposed to solve illegal drugs but black market marijuana is alive and well in Colorado.

                There are not too many studies on the long term effects of alcohol because the "horse has been out of the barn for a long time". However, marijuana and other drugs are a hot issue. I don't have a great answer, and my only answer to that is two wrongs don't make a right.

                      There is strong scientific evidence that most SN posters are users of marijuana especially those that post in the off-season. In fact there is a very high correlation between the frequency of posts and utilization of pot. Those that post frequently on here are very heavy users. If ever you were looking for good solid evidence that people should stay away from marijuana just read some of the posts on this "fine" forum. It's enough to scare you straight :)

                              I'm in that camp. Until a few weeks ago I couldn't have told you a single player that EVER played for the Warriors, let alone anyone on the current roster. The Lakers would be an entirely different story.

                                I don't know you from Wilt Chamberlin but I imagine you fall into the "average Americans who don't follow the NBA" category I described. If not, I find it hard to believe that you were unaware of Chris Mullins and Chris Weber at the very least.
