I just want to see a completely packed arena on game nights. There were maybe two games last year where the student section was completely full. Maybe. For whatever reason the current student body is unable to use their entire ticket allotment.

It's not like enrolling in class at WSU is free. Whether you're taking a "real" class or bowling, the credit hours cost the same.

While I can sympathize with this viewpoint, it's not as bad as the students who were claiming tickets to games they had no idea they could attend - or knew they couldn't attend - and didn't use them. That's a greater abuse of the system, in my opinion.

Or picked up their free ticket with hopes of selling them to other students or the general public.

I know at one point in time, a few years back, my nephew had told me that he got his student ticket free, and could purchase a ticket for a guest for $20 or something like that. Do they still have that option available to students?

Last I knew, yes. It had been this way for quite awhile and still is unless very recently changed.

Due to the problems of students getting tickets only to not use them or sell them, it remains to be seen how tickets will be handled this season.

As of last year it was something like.. Free one with the ID, then $10-$15 for the next one (depending on the opponent), then I think $22 for each of the next two (max was four, i think?).

All from memory, so I apologize for any inaccuracies.

This is accurate with my recollection. But like WuShock16 said, I wouldn't be surprised if this policy changes.

That'd still be a good way to do it, just don't let them buy multiple games in advance. Sell them only one game at a time. I think the problem they ran into were students buying blocks of tickets to multiple games, without being sure whether their friends would use the tickets to some of those games.

Well, I do NOT know all (or any) of the rules, but I will certainly be looking for game tickets when they become available, specially for the senior night game. I was informed I may need to invest in a window unit air conditioner for the garage so I have a place to sleep if I don't find tickets to senior night.

Game will be in February, so I'd focus on a space heater.

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

I've got an electric blanket and a small space heater to stay warm. I'm more concerned about staying cool next summer. ;)
