I have a slim hope of snagging some tickets this year. Since I only have 1 year donating, I'm not holding my breath.
The bumped-up prices might weed out some people. I would imagine the process of seat upgrades would start here within the next few weeks.

      A good plan.

      I wish you luck.

There was something about mid July on the upgrade process in the letter that was with my renewal if I am remember correctly. So I would guess that takes a couple weeks to get all the upgrades made for existing ticket holders. Maybe around August they start allocating available tickets? Not having my renewal letter in front of me I cannot be 100% certain of the timeframe, someone might be able to double check me.

I have thought about moving down a little over the past few years but I look around me and I really like the people in our area. KW is a pain but I like Dave. So I guess I will stay and let them tolerate me.

Just curious, but who is that directed to?

LMAO! I've been reassigned several times, and I will definitely say that sitting close to cool folks make it way more fun and special! Even if they eat all your licorice.

Do they sell licorice at Koch Arena? Or are you undermining the athletic department by sneaking in unauthorized, outside food?
There are three rules that I live by: never get less than twelve hours sleep; never play cards with a guy who has the same first name as a city; and never get involved with a woman with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Now you stick to that, and everything else is cream cheese.

Folks on the ticket waiting list, who are wondering about the status of assignment of tickets or future availability. (Crappy sentence, but you get my drift.)

                      Both!

I'd buy more from the concession stand, but theirs is ancient and stale. So I typically bring in much fresher and tastier contraband.

                      • But licorice is made from byproducts and sold by subsidiaries of Koch Industries, so it all ends up in the same place. Instead of funding operations, you're directly funding Marshall's paycheck.

                        • I think licorice is one of the few things Koch can't be said to have a hand in. I suppose Koch-produced fertilizer could help grow the corn that makes the corn syrup?

Weird game: familiarize yourself with everything Koch companies do, and then as you go about your day, think about how many parts of your life Koch touches in some form. The sheets you sleep in, clothes you put on, parts of your phone you compulsively check ShockerNet on, gas you put in your car, cup you drink coffee from... you get the drift. I work for Koch and love it, but when you think of it that way it is a little weird.

/tangent with nothing to do with thread topic

                            What about licorice's plastic wrapper?

                            • Just got the call, they are starting the upgrades if you asked to change your seats. Lowest row if you are wanting to move down is 25, unless you are paying some big bucks!
