I got my SASO donation in for Shocker Club Level last month ... Really hoping to get off the waiting list and get 2 tickets this year. Not holding my breath though :(

On this point I would invite you to the Rolling Stones concert at the end of June in kc. No dead members or oxygen tanks;just Mick and Keith and the boys kickin your ass to the curb. When I see you flyin around the stage like Mick, you can have the mike. Until then, STFU about "80" year old rockers.

When the Stones were in Wichita in 2006, Mick REALLY impressed me. Keith looked like he was ten minutes from dead, but Mick rocked it out. I hope I have that same energy in my 60s.

Ha touché, on the Stones although I consider them outliers. For every Stones there are 10 groups that shouldn't have went past the Clinton administration in longevity.

I was referring to the Kansas Star And Prairie Band Casino tours whose ticket prices are outrageous considering they are too old for Branson, Missouri.

For seats below the mid-line railing, each season ticket really costs in the neighborhood of $1,300 if you consider SASO to get in the Guardian or better sections. Pretty close to $100 per game, considering that the Intrust game is not included.

                That's the "high-major" effect.

Get on the phone ASAP and you should be fine. One year my sister forgot to send in SASO and she had no problem paying late without losing her tickets.

I agree with BostonWu's observation. If you do monthly deductions or WSU payroll, don't delay. The first updated withdrawals happen soon.

It would suck to lose seating and priority points by forgetting. Priority points are based upon consecutive seasons. If you drop, you move to the back of the line. The line is long.

The new monthly deduction begins in July, but the deadline for replying has certainly passed, or close to it. Ticket reassignment won't occur until August, so there is likely little to fear about losing tickets if you contact them immediately (with your tail between your legs)

Remember when Nancy Pelosi said about Obamacare:
"We have to pass it, to find out what's in it".

A physician called into a radio show and said:
"That's the definition of a stool sample."

Thank you. Called saso this morning and paid the donation. I will be renewing my tickets Monday.

I am curious what people think as far as what size of SASO donation would be required to get a couple of season tickets THIS YEAR? I appreciate the fact that the donation goes towards a good cause, but would be disappointed if I were to make a decent-sized donation and still not get a couple of tickets...

I would expect it to be five figures. You would have to get the SASO points to a point with your donation where you move to the front of the line and get seats that have not been renewed.

Eh, that is what I am afraid of. For years I have simply purchased one-off tickets, so now if I want to get season tickets it will cost me dearly. I have heard that someone can transfer tickets to someone else in the event they are not wanting to renew...

If someone is in the unfortunate position where they are not renewing I would be happy to pay them a "transfer fee" of sorts.
