I know that my wife asks me to clean the toilet AND take the trash out. Sometimes those can be difficult to manage. And then sometimes she asks for a massage, so I have to ask for a raise. Sometimes I get the raise and more often times she gets a free massage and I don't have to sleep on the couch.

    The real world is tough.

I know instructors hook up with their students occasionally, but is it really so rampant you have to have a VP of Student Affairs?

You really don't need to open your mouth on a subject you know nothing about, let alone generalize two hard-working students for asking questions that the general student body felt needed to be asked. Right or wrong, it doesn't really make you a bigger man for trash talking students.

          I laughed.

okay mom, why didn't your son ask these questions 2 years ago when it was actually news and not sour grapes?

If the student body is really this concerned I must say that I am more concerned. One would have to live in never-never land to think any action taken or not taken by Bardo had an impact on student safety.

              This is a non-story.

If they were really that concerned, they would have done this two years ago. Now, after Bardo has already, and sufficiently (in my opinion) answered these questions, it appears these student "leaders" are either opportunists, being used by an opportunist, or both. Either way, I think they are just taking a walk.

People also like to take unnecessary jabs at those who have big salaries, just to see where it gets them.. I seem to recall a professor at WSU going off on a rant back in like 2007 about how much Marshall made, way back then.
If that professor cared enough to rant about Marshall's salary then, in the middle of his lecture, then things have to be slightly comical now, in that particular department.

I'm trying to wrap my brain around this scenario...Say Student Affairs was immediately notified, what role would they have possibly played considering WPD and campus police were all over it? I mean really what would/could they have done once notified???

Nothing but implement a faux double secret surveillance over the accused student athlete which isn't their job. That's the only thing I could think of.

The answer is absolutely nothing. I'm disappointed (not surprised though) that the Eagle has made an issue of a non-issue. I guess they're just desperate to sell some newspapers.

Jokes on them! I read about it on an online forum from someone who read the article online! Suck it print media!

Nobody was ever in danger - it's not like there was a serial killer or serial rapist running around on campus. The people shouting the loudest only want attention.

When did the SGA leadership at WSU suddenly become irrational, grand-standing, attention-whoring nincompoops challenged in basic reading comprehension? Frankly, they are an embarrassment to our alma mater, and they need to drink heavily from the cup of STFU. If these SGA clowns really don't think they have egg on their face by continuing to ring the bell after being publically owned by a university president, and now by the freaking KBoR, then they will have a terrifically difficult time in the real world.

When I was at WSU (not exactly a generation ago) the SGA president was a fellow BSB student, who used reason and logic over emotion in decision-making, and now helps to run a rather sizable family business. He would have never carried himself in this manner. He is probably removing "WSU SGA President 20__ - 20__" from his LinkedIn profile as we speak, in order to remove a potential connection with these current TFM's.

EDIT: Oh... and Wade Robinson... don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out. Maybe in your new-found freedom you can go back to school and major in something that requires an IQ score of greater than 65 in order to attain its terminal degree.
