I agree that he will be back but I also think that this Jodi Adams black eye will make the university a little more cautious with its image. It will be interesting how they handle the PR side of both of these stories in the next few months.

I would like to hear from some of the fine women on this forum (maybe we have heard from them but I doubt it) on this issue. Should Jans be brought back?
Some men think that this wasn't a big deal. Others think it was a bigger deal. I happen to agree that he did accept responsibility for his indiscretion which is good but this may not be enough or to soon for it to be forgotten.

He won't be getting punished by not having a job in the off-season, especially when he might have a job at WSU again. We don't need him for recruiting, we need a real family man for recruiting. There is a bunch of really great recruiters wanting to be at WSU.

I am neutral on the issue of bring coach Jans back. Taking a devil's advocate view though, if you look at the athletic department as a whole, the timing of a decision might not be the best right now.

For those advocating against reinstating him, what is the "correct" level of punishment? Should he be banished for life? Forced to wear a social media driven scarlet letter, and not allowed near impressionable college youths? Perhaps be temporarily ostracized for a pre-determined period? If none of these are appropriate, then why not bring him back? Should we allow another university to gain a competitive advantage by hiring him away?
