There you go again. Is your name KungWu?

While neither is projected to be a one and done, they are the only top 100 freshman Marshall has signed other than VanVleet.

@shox:_KCfan Not as far as I know. I was always told he will walk on for at least 2015-16. That could change.

              • These are the 2 I was expecting to be the trfr's. I was a little more surprised about Henderson. I thought at 6'3" he might get another year.

Holland didn't show any signs of running point, and D-1 ball is not a good place for a 6' SG. 6' SG's get shots blocked and get shot over on D. Glass was this year's version of Anacreon. Looked really athletic and exciting to watch, but didn't have game to play at this level.

It's interesting to trot out the old "at this level" phrase and now it means a consistent top-20 team with regular visits to the top-10.

I think this trims the roster down to only those who have proven themselves and those who can reasonably be expected to. I never thought Nurger or BWam would be leaving.

I wonder if he'll be getting one of those new luxury boxes?!

I'm guessing those things will go fast and for big $$$

                    • I would be willing to bet that those that will have the boxes are probably the same ones that bankrolled the enhanced package.

                      • Not surprised by these transfers at all. Rian never really showed much, even as a 3 point sharp shooter. He had one game early in the season where he played some really active D but think he wore himself out and never saw it again.

Disappointed that Tevin didn't stick. He, too, flashed but it was a bit later in the season, and it was pretty clear he wasn't the typical JUCO 3G brings to the program.

Wonder if either them will end up at ETSU with Coach Forbes? Best of luck to both young men.

                        • It sucks that the system works this way, but these 3 transferring out is very beneficial for the team. I don't believe Holland or Glass would of ever got to a point where they were heavy contributors. I think a couple years down the road Henderson could of been playing major minutes, but I understand why he doesn't want to wait. Exciting times in Wichita right now! There is not a single guy scholarship player on our roster that I don't see being contributors. Now let's go land a game changing big!

I am perfectly happy with them transferring...the same way I am happy with an assistant coach landing a head coaching job. I know it's a bad comparison, but when I look at it from the athlete's perspective, it is a net positive. Like you said, none of these 3 guys would have ever gotten to a point where they were getting a lot of minutes until probably their senior year, and in Tevin's case, never. For them to all transfer out means they will get picked up by a school where they stand a great shot to be starting ASAP. Who knows? Transfers pan out at their second school all the time. They are making a decision that will probably result in their careers taking off and that is great for them. I became a UNO fan when Jake White went there. I will become a fan of the school's that grab up these guys, too.

Meanwhile, WSU is off the charts on talent and potential.

                            • I agree with all that you say. I think them 3 transferring out is best for them and best for the team with the current situation all 3 are facing. It is just a little sad that things didn't work out with these guys. More than likely none of these guys are going to land at a program of WSUs level. When an assistant takes a head coaching position somewhere it is an advancement from where they are currently positioned. Essentially all of 3 of these guys are getting sent down to the minors. So I am more than ecstatic for WSU and where it sits with talent on the roster. Trimming these guys from the roster was the best thing to do for WSU and more than likely the best thing for the 3 guys. All 3 of these guys will more than likely transfer somewhere where they can be big factors on their new team. The new team is just not going to be WSU or a program of WSUs level. And because of that it is a little sad all around.

If they find a good fit are happy, and play more, they've advanced
