It shouldn't be that hard to believe. WSU is a quantum leap ahead of both CUs at this time. We are going to compete for a National Championship. This is a high major powerhouse in college basketball today.

Conner believes in Coach Marshall and believes he can get to the next level here. He knows he WILL win here. And he KNOWS he's going to get a chance to play here.

Plus he has the opportunity to be the home town guy. Something he was never going to be at sCUm or the other Cu or Kansas or anywhere.

Given the alternatives, I think it was a pretty simple decision.

As I mentioned earlier, the question isn't whether we sign 1 anymore, it's if we sign 2.

I am seeing comments about bringing in a big man and perhaps I have counted wrong. Thanks.
We have 8 scholarship players returning: Fred, Ron, Evan, Shaq, Zach B1, Rashard, B-Wam and Rauno.

We have 4 incoming commitments: Eric, Markis, Landry and Tyrone.

We know Conner is not on a scholarship this year. That is a fact.

Therefore as of right now we have 12 scholarships accounted for and 1 to give. That is likely to go to a big man that can help immediately. If that doesn't happen and we don't otherwise use that scholarship it could go to Conner next year.

I'm betting 3G will use that scholarship and Conner will be paying his own way next year.

The situation remains fluid and may not come totally into focus until late summer. The regular LOI signing period begins tomorrow, April 15th and runs through May 20th. However, even if we do not sign a player to an LOI in that period that does not preclude us to adding a player zans LOI at anytime prior to the start of the fall semester.

If we sign 2 more as @WuDrWu, a damn reliable source, is suggesting then we will have another transfer out or we might place Markis or Landry at Sunrise or someone will lose/give up their schollie and pay their own way. Most likely one of the 1st two of those options.

Another possibility is there is going to be another transfer.

That was the 1st option I listed. The 2nd was to place Markis or Landry at Sunrise. I think those would be the primary two options. I think the 3rd option I listed is very unlikely to happen.

No way we risk Landry and Markis going to Sunrise and get snatched up by someone else.

I have to admit that would make me nervous.

Can't see any reason to risk Landry or Markis at sunrise

Do we know that all four incoming committments are eligible?

That is a good question. One that I can't answer.

I suppose that technically none of them are eligible until they finish their current semester in good standing and they obtain their diplomas. Not sure how that works for prep school students.

                          And, as a follow-up question...

Did any of them take courses in ass-kicking, name-taking, and/or glass-chewing?

Tevin wrote the book on Glass (including chewing), but alas, it didn't help him here.

Anyone know what flavor of bubble gum each one of them likes? They've seem to all have run out of bubble gum.

Did anyone catch the clip of Shaq last night on KSN 10 o'clock sports? He looked like he was 110% disinterested. No a single ounce of enthusiasm in his 260-whatever body.
