I thought Kelly would "get it" this year. I think he will next.

Nurger was a major disappointment. Still has tons of upside.

I thought Corey was a PG.

BW showed signs defensively. TG has a ton of upside but didn't get it. Maybe he can follow Forbes? He was Forbes guy.

He's not giving seniors their walking papers. You miss on a JUCO recruit, you suck it up for both years, IMO.

After watching Shocker Madness I pegged Rauno as a major player this year. I lost some cred with that one. I do remain hopeful.

If they don't lose a year of ellgiablity and he thinks they could contribute more to another program, I think it's a possibility.

I was a little disappointed HCGM didn't clear the bench and send in the walks-ons in the last minute against KU.

Yes. There were nine scholarship players that saw the court in the post season. Two (actually 4 including Ron and Evan) graduated. The seven with eligibility remaining will have a scholarship next season. McDuffie, Shamet, Hamilton, and Taylor will also be on scholarship. It is unclear if Frankamp will be on scholarship. There are one or two scholarships remaining assuming all aforementioned players choose to come back. It is unclear what the future holds for Glass, Holland, Nurger, and Henderson. If we sign one more, all of them could be gone. If Baker goes pro, Frankamp is a walk-on, and Wessel leaves (or someone else transfers), then all of them could be back.

Same could be said about Holland and Nurger.... But since they were freshmen they get a pass by most... Most jucos don't hit full stride till year two

Can baker and wessell walk on then? They don't need classes anymore right?

Once you except a scholarship you count against the total until you are gone, you cannot change to a walk on. The incoming freshman have more talent than Holland and Henderson. I believe sadly that based on that and their minutes played that they will be two that will leave. Bush is here to stay.

Didn't Dougie McDermott walkon his senior year to free up a scholarship? Or was that a special case since he was the coach's son?

                                Lotta good it did 'em...

Developing all that extra talent they gained by having another scholarship available.
