  • Who's Your Favorite Shocker of all Time?

Hey everyone. With all the Gregg Marshall chatter going around, I thought it would be fun to lighten the mood a little bit and ask this question. Who is your favorite shocker of all time? Personally, mine is Clevin Hannah. I always liked his game and that he was a spectacular free throw shooter. So how about you?

I will always hold a special place in my heart for Ron Baker, especially when he goes for 3.

I bought my first season tickets when AC signed his LOI, so I'm going with AC. There are about 25 close seconds.
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

Until recently, it was Jason Perez. Now it is FVV.

He really is. It was cool to be able to see him get inducted into the Shocker Hall of Fame last year at the Indiana State game.

EDIT: I meant to quote ShoxRoxMySox in this comment. My mistake.

                      Cotton.
If Fred and Ron both come back, it'll be a 3-way tie. :-)

My all time favorite basketball player is X. Fred is making a serious run at X.

My all time favorite person is Garrett Stutz. I didn't think ANYONE would ever approach his area code, much less surpass him. I don't think Fred will surpass Garrett, for me, but he's in the discussion, and that's saying a whole bunch.

Edit: I realize this is men's basketball but I would be remiss if I didn't at least mention a volleyball player so I'll go with Jordan Loney so that @WuShock16: can have Hoop.

Been a fan since '03, so I'm going to only choose from the pool of Shockers from then on. It's tough, but I'd have to go with Tekele Cotton. My reasoning is his explosive plays and silly demeanor (which is typically only seen off the court). Ramone Clemente is probably a close second...
