Losing Cotton will hurt really bad. But I remember saying that about Murry, Hall, etc. The trajectory is unquestionably upward, so there's far more to be positive about.

Lol did I say that? No, I didn't. I just don't see the point of knocking down that fan base to make myself feel better after a loss to finish off a great season. When the Royals lost in the WS I didn't say "Oh well, at least I'm not a Yankees fan". It's pointless. I don't even think about KU when I'm watching the Shox because I don't care about KU. They don't register in my life.

But whatever helps you feel better after a loss.

You didn't knock them down. Someone else did. You are a real nice guy though and made KU (whoever is looking at this thread) fans feel better about themselves. :)

Congtrats to Notre Dame. They were outstanding tonight. I'll be rooting for the Irish the rest of the way. Shocks simply ran into a buzz saw tonight while not bringing their best game to the floor. Not a good formula.

Very proud of this team though. Exceeded my expectations.

Hey, fine by me. They don't play like one. Many "POWER 5" conference teams are jealous, me as a Pitt fan included (been fairly successful overall since the early 00's but mediocre these last few years).

Just saw the final stats, and ND shot 75% in the second half. When that happens, you tip your cap to the other guy and walk off the floor. Nothing to be ashamed about here.

Two quick "take aways" from the game:

1) FVV deserves some serious "atta boy". Without him, that's a 30 to 40 point blowout, we were playing so badly. That kid lifted this entire team on his shoulder and never quit until the bitter end.

2) My butt hurts.
