From listening to Rome so far, he definitely believes Gregg made the right decision with Alabama. But I can tell his tune might have changed if it was Texas instead.

Rome pretty much states WSU basketball > Alabama basketball. Sees Alabama as a top 40-50 program, and infers that Wichita state is ranked high enough to make a move from WSU to Alabama seem bad. Also, Rome doesn't say it out loud but seems to ranks Texas above us.

I would like to see Rome put together a list of his top 25 programs thinking about it.

I think most informed Shocker fans wouldn't have much problem conceding that the Texas program exceeds our own. Kind of look silly arguing otherwise.

Not saying the Longhorn job doesn't have some big negatives associated with it, especially now with Patterson behind the wheel.
