    Very nice. Extra nice.

I have a challenge for you.

I was not aware of the staff meeting, which was called by VV at mid-court, during a timeout late in the game. I think it was around the 5 minute mark. I learned about it later.

Tonight Senora Rio and I watched the game for the fourth time - one live and three dvr.

I paused the replay at just a hair, before the timeout was called. I wanted to see the huddle at mid-court in slo-mo. Since I do not have a slo-mo feature on my dvr, I used the pause feature. So I advanced through the timeout in this fashion - pause, unpause for a microsecond, pause, unpause for a microsecond, etc.

The Shocker action was so great to see. Not only did the starting five huddle up, but the players and Coach Marshall came off the bench to join the huddle. The interaction among the players was absolutely riveting to me. In the huddle, there was only person doing the talking - FVV.

In the live telecast, the television camera only showed a few seconds of the huddle action, before it cut away for commercials.

So here is the challenge. Will you or can you make a slo mo video of the mid-court staff meeting and post it on this fine forum?

    Thanks in advance.

Btw, I imagine Coach Marshall was there because players are required to be in the bench area, during timeouts.

Ok I read that in his voice. That was uncanny.

It was a very good 'no call'.

        That is all.
So you can leave your feet so long as verticality is maintained? I did not realize that. Has that always been the case, or is that how interpretation has modified over the years?

That is their approach. They are going to deny the game ever took place.

To a man they agreed the shot to the nose was a basketball play and was just an unfortunate by product of such.

2 believed that technically it was a block but they would have passed because it was fairly tame.

The third believed a block should have been called.

All three laughed at the possibility of either an intentional foul or a charge.

None would be considered WSU guys, although certainly they know what's going on.

            FWIW
That sums it up right there. Not a charge, not a block. A good no call. Maybe at the lower levels it's a block, but in college? Great no call. Easily the best officiated game of the tournament thus far

Vertical?! How far SIDEWAYS can you jump to get in someone's way before it's not a block?

Shoxlax I would expect to see it here: http://kuathletics.leanplayer.com

They have the big 12 championship game uploaded but neither of their ncaa tourney games.

It may be a ncaa thing or they havent gotten around to it yet or they may pretend they didnt go to the tourney this year. :)

I got lucky with the FVV/Ellis one. They slowed it down on the broadcast.

I tried my best with the FVV huddle, though.

Bill Self's reaction to HCGM sneaking a time-out in before a five-second call could be made.

They are now hoping the season gets vacated because of Alexander. "What loss to WSU? Never happened."

I don't know if Alexander was even allowed on the bench, but it would have been hilarious if they put him in for the last three minutes in an attempt to get it vacated.

I thought they normally only vacate wins and all losses stay on the record?

I'm pretty sure Self is just upset because he didn't realize you could use timeouts to help your team. He thought they were just for instilling panic.
