I'm not sure what came over me this afternoon but I was surprisingly serene before and during most of the game. The only time I was really a little nervous was with about 5 minutes to play. May have been the 1st time in the 45 years my wife and I have been together that she was more animated than I was during a game.

There is no reason at this point to talk smack or try to 1-up any KU fan. We have officially now crossed the point at which we need to apologize to anyone or feel inferior to anyone. This was a great weekend. KU is a great program and this year's KU team is very good although probably not one of their better editions. In any case, what a weekend with wins over two storied programs Indiana and KU. Let's keep on keepin' on Shocks.

Fred's grandmother apparently passed away this week and maybe we should toss of few thought bouguets to Fred and his family. I have a feeling Fred's Grandma was doing that for our benefit today.
