I wouldn't be surprised if our basketball team could beat their FB team playing FB. We might have to borrow some players from the women's team to get enough bodies, but I don't see how that would diminish our chances of beating them in a FB game.

Baker, Wessel, Simon, and Cotton would all be starters on KU's FB team.

I respect your program. To win the Big 12 for 12 years in a row, is really big deal. We haven't done that in our conference and I admit that the MVC is relatively weak. The Big 12 as a conference may not be as good as some think and maybe the MVC isn't as weak as some think. I guess the only thing that I can say is Great Year and we'll see you again in 20 years.

1) Indiana was tougher. They played hard nose defense and gave nothing away.

2) Indiana's fans are classier. Wait, no. Indiana's fans as a whole are classy, period. KU's fans as a whole -- well class cannot be used to describe them. They are an embarrassment to the state actually. Sure, there are classy KU fans -- but they are VASTLY outnumbered by the arrogant fans.

3) Bill Self is a great coach, employed by a hyper-political administration, at an overly expensive party school with a ton of fantastic tradition but overwhelmed by willfully ignorant fans.

I like to think that most KU fans aren't like this. But too many of them keep proving me wrong. I will follow the model of a being humble whether we win or lose. Because I don't play for either team. Let's all strive to never be that guy.
