@JonRothstein: Indiana shot 11-22 from three-point range and 17-20 from the foul line and still lost. Wichita St's toughness can't be measured in numbers.

Why is our 3-headed monta special. Cotton did not have his best game ever but made a huge 3 and another nice clutch shot inside. Baker is off from outside but makes throws like it's nothing. Fred Van World Van Stud just played his best game ever as a Shock and that is a saying a mouthful. Not only did he keep us from sinking the first half by scoring lots of points, he also guarded their star and slowed him down to a mild roar.

A game like this is probably more valuable for the Shocks with the Jayhawks up next than a walk in the park type game would have been.

Indiana was our "pressure game". Under seeded Shocks had to beat over seeded IU. Flaming out like Iowa St or Baylor couldn't be allowed.

After KWho won, the pressure increased. If we wanted our shot, this is the opportunity. We Grabbed the Ring!

The pressure is now off our shoulders and totally on the Beakers. As far as anyone outside of Shocker Fandom is concerned, we're not suppose to beat KU.

WSU now 5-0 against the Big 10, all on neutral courts, since 2009-10. Last loss was a neutral court game against #5 Michigan State by 8 points in November 2008, Marshall's only WSU loss against the B1G. That Michigan State team went on to the National Championship game -- yet another championship game team that we lost to by single digits on a neutral site under Marshall. That's an incredible record considering not one Big 10 team will play us home and home.

Six years, three months, and 21 days since the last time a Big 10 team beat Wichita State. And counting.

But sure, "nothing to gain" is why teams like that won't play us home and home.
