Just think how good Fred would be if he just was athletic enough to stay with the elite guards in the country.

I hope this game shut down that "not athletic enough" argument about FVV's game transitioning to the NBA.

He played 37 minutes, scored 27 points, a 4:1 A:TO ratio, and lived inside the pocket of one of the most athletic guards in the country. All while playing one of the faster tempos I've ever seen him play.

I'm worried about team exhaustion for Sunday ... but no question, FVV is a TREMENDOUS athlete, and more than capable athletically of playing in the NBA.

I am not worried about team exhaustion. Even Marshall has commented how depth isnt as huge of a factor in the NCAA tourney as there is rest time between games. Unlike the valley tourney. You dont have to be deep to win in the big dance. Depth comes into play with fouls, injuries...etc. But we dont have to worry about who plays how many minutes as much.

I think Fred asked Gregg to be put on Yogi. Throwing down the gauntlet. That was the pre-season AA Fred.
Tekele and Ron weren't great offensively. They were good defensively. They are great winners.
Somebody punch Darius in the mouth before the game Sunday. He played better after the blow.
