Evan, Darius, Shaq, Brown would probably all get a shot at guarding him.

    However that's all a long ways away. One or both of the teams might not even make it to Sunday. My only point about the big men in our region was that no team really relies on post play as their go to strength. And I also believe we're at the point where our post play has been criticized and downplayed so much that it's actually a strength. Darius is very dangerous and efficient when he stays out of foul trouble. Shaq is almost as dangerous offensively and even more so on D.

    I like the fact that post play is viewed as our weakness. I hope all the teams we play think that.
    Thank you for bringing this up. I had not put together that Evan would be matched up with Perry, and that is just a great story waiting to unfold if both teams get there. I can't believe that Evan Wessel might be guarding Perry Ellis in the NCAA tournament 2015. Try telling him that when he signed with WSU.

          I don't see that happening against IU. That game might turn into a track meet and we all know he's lacking in the cardio department. If we get to KU, it just might.

              Did you unintentionally misspell his name or is Zack a combination of Zach and sack, which would be appropriate today.

                Sure, we'll go with the latter. :)

                  The nine players you saw today is your rotation for this tourney.

                  Zach Brown, great game. Shaq was a close second.
                  Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

                    Yep, I agree. I had a thought this week that maybe our '13 run happened because of injuries during the season and having new guys step up to help. Gave them experience and confidence in March. We've really leaned on our experienced guys this year and shows in the tournament. Glad ZB and SM have both made strides in the right direction.
                    I just want to stand on land...

                    @rjl:
                    If I had a gun with two bullets and was in a room with Hitler, Bin Laden, and a Creighton fan, I think I'd shoot the Creighton fan twice.

                      20+ points from the short branch today. Wouldn't have happened earlier.

                      I'm thinking we'll have a little more depth up front next year after watching the game today........

                        Moderator, you're server time is out of kilter, you might want to check so see why.

                        BTW, NTP time V4 and a good mil.time server ought to cure that problem so it doesn't happen again.

                            I'm feeling a lot better about my Bush vote. Those were critical minutes he gave us today.
