It wasn't a smart pick, and them winning doesn't mean they should've made it. Unless you'd argue that we should've been a 1 seed in 2013 since we beat Gonzaga, or a 12 seed in 2012 since we lost to one. Same logic.
But, props to them for stepping up and winning. When all you hear all week is that you shouldn't be there, it surely gives you a little edge. And seeing Larry Brown go down doesn't make me sad.
Hearing that Brown, Jank and Moore went down didn't make sad except I didn't want UCLA to win either. It was a no win game for me.
Ohio State VCU one heck of a game I am probably the only one on this board rooting for the Bucks and that's understandable and fine by me. I would be rooting for VCU vs most other teams like back when Wichita State played Ohio State a few years ago I root for you guys against most teams. The NCAA is cruel sometimes.

The possibility of playing Snob Hill does resound with me, but I for one would rather the Selection Committee simply seed based on a logical, quantitative process, rather than this 'matchup' BS we've dealt with for 2 years now. I'd be totally okay if they removed the human factor from the process all-together, and replaced that with a computational metric such as what Ken Pomeroy puts together.
Ken Pomeroy has Baylor as #15 and Iowa St as #16. You know well that the Big 12 is overrated. Computer may save money. But it doesn't know better than human

"We knew going into the tournament that both Georgia St. and UAB were ridiculously under seeded at 14's. I will be talking with the Athletic department of Kansas University to get their help and expertise on how to start an investigation into the NCAA Selection Committee."
