My "meh" had more to do with "I didn't care" about KT leaving. I did about Ford.

    • I don't think that shot had any chance to go in looked to be over the rim already.

It's pretty dang close. I still think the finger touching the ball caused the first change of direction. Could it have been let go? I dunno. According to the rulebook, it was a goal tend. Now, there was no way in hell that ball was going in which makes it all really unfortunate.

Let's put it this way. If the call isn't made, would we be arguing about this the other way? Or is it a play on?

        • I don't get the goal tending call it was going over the rim if you look at the freeze shot of when he touched it was already over the rim it been different if the shot was from the other side of the court.

If he just grabbed that ball instead of tipping it I bet no goal tend gets called it was clearly already over the rim.

          • I don't think it was definitively going over the rim. I think there was a reasonable chance it was going to hit the rim based on the angles I've seen.

So far, all of the TV guys think it was the right call.

              • Someone please explain to me why that call is not reviewable while practically everything else in the last two minutes is. I feel a rule change needs to be made.

                    Fact.

If they're gonna slow down the rest of the game with every other rule review in the final 2 minutes, you might as well throw all of them in there.

Well, I think most members of the committee know what they are doing, while some on this board think you know better. Similarly, I appreciate their seeding in such a way we could face KU in the second (or third) round, while some on this board complained about a 7-seed.

The possibility of playing Snob Hill does resound with me, but I for one would rather the Selection Committee simply seed based on a logical, quantitative process, rather than this 'matchup' BS we've dealt with for 2 years now. I'd be totally okay if they removed the human factor from the process all-together, and replaced that with a computational metric such as what Ken Pomeroy puts together.
