I could agree with that from an Indiana perspective.
Their weakness is clearly the inside game, so that not being our strength is a positive for them.
Of course, that goes both ways, and our weakness is also on the inside game, which is also not their strength.
But generally you look at that from the perspective of the underdog, so ... we're not a bad matchup for Indiana. Granted, our backcourt is SO MUCH better.
Until Shaq Morris has his breakout.

Jay Bilas on ESPN: KU hasn't been ducking Wichita State in non-conference scheduling
Ok Jay, then why aren't the two playing?
And don't give me the "KU doesn't have anything to gain" line anymore. WSU has clearly established itself as a legit program, not a flash-in-the-pan. It would be a high RPI game that would aid in KU's No.1 SOS streak it has going. And it's GOOD FOR BOTH FANBASES AND THE STATE OF KANSAS. Ever thought of that one too, Bill?
Deuces Valley.
... No really, deuces.

Do you remember Jerry Palm saying that we weren't a lock for the tourney. Most idiotic statement and he lost all credibility with that statement. He must be lucky with every other prediction he makes.
You asked for it...you got it! Hoosier fan here. First of all, if you want to visit a sane, very active IU message board with great mods, try Btownbanners. If you come in peace you should be treated well.
Second; I have a serious bone to pick with your team: when you didn't quite beat Kentucky last year you broke my heart; we were all rooting for your team big time.
As for the game, all five of our starters can shoot the three ball. Our defense is, at times, awful, really awful. At other times (including during the past week), it rises all the way to "average".
Yogi Ferrell is really good. Him vs FVV should be a fantastic matchup. Yogi has always been extremely strong and quick. His decision making is not nearly as good as FVV, but it has improved dramatically.
Our most athletic big, Perea, is questionable to play at best with a re-aggravated knee injury. In his place we start another 40%+ 3pt shooter; the 6'7" Collinn Hartman. We are very young, and our freshmen hit the wall about six weeks ago, but they seem to have gotten a bit of a second wind during the BigTen Tourney. We can't defend the post at all, but we defend the three reasonably well and we rebound very well on the offensive end only. We are very good from the ft line.
Our starting lineup will likely be:
Ferrell, 6'0" jr
Blackmon, 6'3" fr
Johnson, 6'3" fr
Williams, 6'7" so
Hartman, 6'7" so
Our fan base is rabid, and then some. Our coach is a good guy but is on professional life support at IU. In fact, many on our board have and will speculate that whichever coach wins this game will be IU's coach next year! At the very least, many of our folks have speculated that Crean needs a good tourney showing to save his job. The money is already there to replace him.
Good luck (but not too much), and here's to an injury-free game.
jay blias is starting to become one of those bitter p5 hacks, a 'la billy packer. somebody needs to alert him to tone it down a bit.. alas, absolute power corrupts absolutely.

Thanks for dropping by! Excited about the match-up! Our interior defense is as good as 10 fouls allows. We have two good offensive posts (both 6-7 and strong) and a hit or miss 6-11 JUCO. We are also a perimeter oriented team, but we pride ourselves on defense.
