WSU will play Hawaii Pacific on Nov. 7 in an exhibition game. The NCAA Division II school is coached by Darren Vorderbruegge, a former Wichitan who’s the former coach at Wichita Northwest and Hoisington high schools.

He coached when I was at northwest, never played basketball just football in highschool.... But he definitely stood out because he was tall and had a huge long last name lol

Well, the rest of the MVC schedule will come out fairly soon. WSU's schedule, on the other hand, will come out sometime around early November...minutes before the first game...along with the tickets. :)

That's how I see it. I suppose we could play ku but why? It doesn't do us any good. We already sell out every game. If we win we were supposed to win and if they get lucky they'll crow about it forever. For ESU it will be the highlight of their career to play in Charles Koch Arena against a top 10 team. It's great for them.


EDIT: I forgot to mention Gregg Marshall is under no obligation to do what's best for ku. He'll continue to do what's best for WSU.
