There is no doubt in my mind they're still recruiting a low post.

That would be the 6'5" Mulder from the #1, undefeated Vincennes. He is gonna be a 1st team juco AA. Wonder if we are still interested?

A 6' 5" power forward or center isn't going to win our game against Kentucky next year. I say Wessel will be the starter at 3, McDuffie will see significant minutes. Unless someone reaaaaalllly passes the eye test and is ready to sign, we stand pat at the 4/5. Mulder will not be the answer down low.

Just to note, and from a related thread, Shaq Morris has received several votes for this year's Valley all-Freshman team. Based on what the other SID's and writers in the Valley think, he will probably be at least part of the puzzle in the low post.

I'm really not even trying to single anyone in particular out. It's just one of those moments where the circumstances make it come into focus. Your two best bigs getting into serious foul trouble, your next best big getting benched for basically having the jitters and then your fourth man having the game of his season to save your butt in a very precarious situation with EVERYTHING on the line. When you've got foul trouble at your weakest position and you have two guys in that position not even get in the game, that says something about their development and it is March now, not December.

It's a little different at the guard position because there was no foul trouble and our main guys were tearing it up. Although, I do find it interesting that The Human Cigar came in for Tekele.

I want everyone back because I see potential in all of them. You just have to wonder when you consider some of the circumstances of how certain people were brought to WSU in the first place plus their evident development. I'm not just talking about one guy here. Really not singling anyone out.

Is that a question or statement? I'll guess question. My answer is our 3 5s last year weren't world beaters but Shadrack, Kadeem, and Darius are three nice 5s and we just held our own with Kentucky giving up almost all 15 fouls. Compare that to Shaq (lots of athleticism and just as good as last years 5s but no consistency), Bush (the defense just goes to help on someone else), and Rauno. We need production next year to push Shaq and another already ready to play

All I know is that I hope Shament doesn't get placed at Sunrise. I want him to learn the high-level D-1 "Play Angry" game firsthand by practicing against Ron and Fred everyday. Then he gets the reigns when they graduate.

Always remember what they say about recruiting and shaving? "You miss a day and you look like a bum".

I enjoy countering that stereotype ;)

I am going to go with Holland and Henderson since our backcourt is crowded and they can get playing time elsewhere. I am going to say Shamet to sunrise, since between Baker and Frankamp we won't have much PT at the 2. That takes care of the 3 scholarships we are over. We all know 3G goes will experience over everything.

                                1. Fred VanVleet
                                2. Ron Baker
                                3. Evan Wessel
                                4. Rashard Kelly
                                5. Shaq Morris

1-3 bench: Frankamp, Brown, McDuffie, and Taylor
4-5 bench: Bush, Nurger, Hamilton, and Glass
I won' comment or speculate on who is leaving. I am not sure a top 100 guard would go to Sunrise, but with HCGM, anything is possible. I think the 4 spot is completely wide open right now..... including Markis having a shot at it...
