Then propose reasonable, workable solutions that take into consideration the financial aspects of our athletic department and their absolute dependence on our SASO donors (especially our well-heeled SASO donors).

Obviously, the "free" tickets do not obligate kids to show up. Any nominal fee for tickets would probably do the trick since most kids do not understand sunk costs.

The Kansas state production crew is weak. the kittens are on a roll and they're not smart enough to bring out a washing machine for somebody to lob souvenir balls at. That freaking really gets a crowd rabid mad.

I proposed better organization, but that was pretty munched turned down.

            100Xs this.

What really gets me going is to have them roll someone out there to find (midget) WU. Oh I love watching people shoot awful free throws too.

Freaking awesome. There is nothing quite like having Don Hall interrupt fans cheering for a three pointer to tell us Klein Construction sponsered Ron Baker's shot!

Duke also has a $7,000,000,000 endowment, they could just give all the tickets away and still pay coach K his huge salary if they really wanted to.

LOL, that won't happen. Funny nobody wants those seats? Somebody sure bought those same seats on the other end of the floor. Explain that.....

Doesn't help the student section is split right down the middle either.

I don't know if they need better organization or reorganization. Plus it is not like we are looking at an empty student section. If 3G is concerned about it then I suspect they will tweak it unitl they feel thay have it right. All-in-all our fan support, both from the students and non-students, is outstanding and their are probably about 300+ other D-1 schools that would love to have our problem.

Generally, I think this will take care of itself if Dr. Bardo is successful in growing the % and numbers of traditional students that are living on campus. But that is going to take a few years. If he is as successful as he wants to be we will have some student ticketing issues but it won't be unused tickets or empty seats.

With the program in its current state it would never happen, but WSU would NEVER let their students rush the court. In fact, they have like 20+ security guards on each side of the section. At some point you got to let kids be kids and have fun.

Maybe they could hire a student section cheer coach to help out.

I believe Coach Marshall made it clear tonight he plans to take care of it himself.

Isn't that what Cheer-Leaders are supposedly for.

Could have an student organization that helps do this.

Hell, pay them, or give them scholarships. Incentivize.
