To me...it really is ironic that Kentucky is having the undefeated season THIS season just after Wichita St.'s UNDEFEATED season. I mentioned earlier this season that Kentucky is out to show the world..."Anything Wichita St. can do...so can we." Having read that "article" about Kentucky cheating with paid officials and such sure raises my eyebrows a little further up my forehead lol. The "article" may be a fake...but that doesn't mean it's not true. Especially since some media (weird that it's St. Louis media/shouldn't that paper know since we were just there and finished our season there???) is saying "first time" a team has gone undefeated since Indiana. REALLY???

Did anyone catch Sportscenter last night? Steve Levy, and I quote to the best of my ability, "The Kentucky Wildcats complete the first undefeated regular season for a major team since Indiana."

This was modified SLIGHTLY in the later editions to say "first undefeated season from a major conference since Indiana".

WTF ESPN? I certainly hope Gregg gets a hold of that.

Paul Sullentrop was pretty bent by this too.

I would almost guarantee that everyone in the WSU locker room has heard. GOOD! ;)

I hope all this disrespect and sour taste from Saturday makes our team go on a National Championship run. I can just see our boys play 5 or 6 straight games of the best basketball they've ever played. Time to play angry again!!

              Dear ESPN,

Your tweet - ICYMI: Kentucky became the 1st major conference team to go undefeated in the regular season since Indiana in 1975-76. - is factually incorrect. Instead it should read as one of the following:

              1) ICYMI: Kentucky became the 1st major conference team to go undefeated in the regular season. - the term mid-major, was first coined in 1977, so there were no major or mid-major teams back in 1975-76, hence, the reference of 1st major conference team is invalid. However, even the above statement is incorrect since two women's teams in a "major" conference accomplished the feat as of a year ago.

              2) ICYMI: Kentucky became the 1st P5 conference team to go undefeated in the regular season. - since it's been shown that major is not the right word, and it's been widely reported that the terms major and mid-major are distinct as of last year - http://sports.yahoo.com/news/term-mi...66--ncaab.html - the new term of P5, which was undoubtedly coined by someone who who missed the major label, should be used. However, since that term only started this year, Kentucky would be the first.

              3) ICYMI: Kentucky became the 1st NCAA team to go undefeated in the regular season since three teams did it last year. - this is most accurate of all the statements and recognizes that it was done just one year ago by the men's Wichita State basketball team, and the women's Notre Dame and University of Connecticut.

As shown above, #3 is the most factual of all, however, since your original tweet shows that facts don't matter, we don't expect you'll use it.

              Sincerely,

              John Q Public

Or for the second straight year a Men's Basketball team went undefeated in the regular season. Kentucky followed the great ride completed just the year before by power house Wichita State.

Big budget schools play 85% of non conf games at home or neutral and most neutral games feature big budget face offs. System is rigged.

Big budget teams have every scheduling advantage. That is a fact from one who tracks it every year. We'll talk more later.

I could fix this overnight. Outlaw all guarantee games and require all home and home games or neutral site games only. Dilemma solved!

Money that buys home games should not buy an NCAA Championship.

Syracuse never leaves the state of New York to play a game. How is that fair to the other 350 division 1 teams?

I have never been a fan of the current method of seeding.

Pull the names out of a hat for seeding is fine with me.
