I sorta believe the best 4 is sitting on the bench most of the time.

Did Wessel score yesterday? I didn't check the box score, but I don't recall him scoring. He does good on defense and hustling and all that, but at some point, he's going to have to score more consistently so we aren't playing 4 on 5.

He does everything else -- when he scores, it's a bonus. Besides, NO ONE was scoring much except Fred and Ron.

As long as we are complaining, there were way too many empty seats in the student section, their chants are old and tired, and way too many people in the stands didn't have on Shocker gear. Frankly outside of the hardcore 7k or so, I question whether the rest of the "fans" really deserve this great team and understand how special this time is.

On the topic of the floor whippers, I have long believed that they need to move to an NBA-like system. Pay people and give them adult sized brooms.

It was at the end of the post game. He was looking forward to a sandwich and a beer and people who could wipe the sweat off the floor. I understand something bad could happen to a player slipping, but come on coach. Staring down a 6 and 10 year old doesn't play very well.

You're exactly right. Coach needs a scapegoat to do the staring down for him, so that he doesn't tarnish his reputation -- and I'M HIS MAN. Where are those little brats at?!

I don't care about who or how the floor guys get the job done. All I know is that HCGM came off as a complete ass in the heat of the moment and 30 minutes later it still had not occurred to him that he crossed a line.

I was in line to see the facial expressions (Bobby Knight like), etc and I can tell you everyone near me had a bad reaction.

One more thing... HCGM and the staff clearly wanted to go offense for defense with Glass and RK. They forgot or almost forgot throughout the second half. If million dollar guys forget to do simple things in the heat of the moment they should try to be a little more lenient with the six year olds.

Yes, it was bad at the time; and talking about it with Mike after the game was inexcusable.
