On the topic of the floor whippers, I have long believed that they need to move to an NBA-like system. Pay people and give them adult sized brooms.
Goes right into the sentiments about the in game promotions and presentation. Please, find a better way to do it. WSU is hanging with the big boys now. Time to step the game up.The Assman

My Proposed Solution: a professional cleaning company can sponsor the crew, but actually pay people to be on it and keep the floors spotless. That way, people hear about your product AND get to see how well you preform it!
Dude, ADES, I still don't understand why you haven't given me a ring!! I'm serving you this ideas on a silver platter!!The Assman

Like everything else at the Chuck these kids are part of a sponsorship package. If you want total focus from the broom crew then hire adults and require them to be engaged enough to be "Johnny on the spot."
This has been a concern of mine for several years. Its great these kids get to be a part of the Shocker Experience but let them be ball boys and stand around during shoot arounds and pre game warm ups. These young kids have no idea what the heck they are supposed to do besides move the little floor mop and or towel around the floor while basking in the light of CKA and its 10,000 fans and the cheer leaders and or dance team. Put some older kids or adults that know what it is they are supposed to be doing.

I don't care about who or how the floor guys get the job done. All I know is that HCGM came off as a complete ass in the heat of the moment and 30 minutes later it still had not occurred to him that he crossed a line.
I was in line to see the facial expressions (Bobby Knight like), etc and I can tell you everyone near me had a bad reaction.
One more thing... HCGM and the staff clearly wanted to go offense for defense with Glass and RK. They forgot or almost forgot throughout the second half. If million dollar guys forget to do simple things in the heat of the moment they should try to be a little more lenient with the six year olds.

I understand something bad could happen to a player slipping, but come on coach. Staring down a 6 and 10 year old doesn't play very well.
