I agree with this. It may still be here if he does the right things going forward. He will have to do everything right over the next few months to be staying though.

I just read the Kansas.com article. Couple important things come from it:

1. Connor was alone - so the ku stories were true, he has no friends. Remember friends don't let their friends drive drunk.

2 Wichita police got to try their body camera out. Unfortunately they are not releasing the video, but rumors were he was asked to sing the "Rock Chalk, Jayhawk" and he puked.....That can't be all bad,right?

Who's "holier than thou "??? Drunk driving is no big deal if you don't get caught. It's a little bigger deal if you do get caught. But if YOU get that dreaded call that your Wife or one of your Children has been killed by a drunk driver - It turns into a big f%$#@&g deal then.

No one is wanting CF's head removed. So chill on the "holier than thou" BS - There are people on here who have been affected by alcohol abuse.

Hopefully CF learns from this and makes better decisions in the future.

Well at least this gave the usual suspects a great excuse to climb up onto their high horses and show us all just how smart and wonderful they are.

I have no idea whether or not this was pointed at me (and I'm neither challenging or complaining if it was) but I respond to say only that in my case it's nothing about being on a "high horse". I have always believed in asking more from myself than I ask of others. I have high expectations for myself which I admit I rarely achieve, but I will do my darnedest not to ask from others that I am not willing to do myself. At least that's my goal. I think I'm neither smart nor wonderful, but I do expect us all to live within the rules.

BUMP, breaking news to follow.

Wichita State basketball player Conner Frankamp has been arrested on suspicion of DUI, records show.

Frankamp was arrested at 12:33 a.m. Sunday at Kellogg and Maize, Wichita police Lt. James Espinoza said. He was also cited for “improper driving on laned roadway” and “unsafe turning or stopping,” according to a booking report released by the Sedgwick County Sheriff’s Office.

Frankamp, 19, transferred to Wichita State from Kansas last month. He is sitting out this semester and next as part of NCAA rules regarding transfers, but has been practicing with the team. He was the Wichita City League’s career scoring leader while at North High.
