      • From my knot hole, a stunning win.

I fretted over it all week.

Who predicted the Shocks would cover by 15?

        • Is it just me or does he almost shoot a fall away set shot? Seems like he's falling back as he shots those 10/12 footers.
Where oh where is our T. Boone Pickens.

Today it looked like he was falling away on the one i saw. Normally he's not falling away, but it just looks that way because of how he releases the ball over his head.
You miss 100% of the shots you don't take....

.....but, statistically speaking, you miss 99% of the shots you do take.

He did fall away on one in the second half. Normally he goes perfectly vertical with the ball way back over his head. He has nice touch so in the long run that will be a deadly weapon.

What could really be a deadly weapon is that hook shot. I believe he hit 2 of those over E-Mock today.

Shaq has a lot of weapons! He is JT Durley 2.0, upgrades include quicker feet, stronger torso, and explosive hops.

                  • In just a few short weeks, Shaq has gone from "most likely to trfr at the end of the season" to 1st player off the bench. Don't know if he'[ll get the minutes or stats, but could get consideration for All-Newcomer team.
The future's so bright - I gotta wear shades.
We like to cut down nets and get sized for championship rings.

He could go farther. The major weakness on this team is an inside compliment to Carter. He could burn me up on this, but I think the light bulb may have finally gone on with him, and I think he will soon be a starter. Wessel has been great, but what he brings translates off the bench.

If they only look at Valley games I think that is very possible. All Bench?

I'm thinking Gregg will stick with Evan. I think he will be quick to insert Shaq into the game when necessary.

Shaq will likely never be the perimeter shooter JT was. But overall he has a higher ceiling as a big man.

That could be a good thing. IMO, JT, and WSU, would have benefited greatly from a lot less hanging around the 3PT line by Durley. He shot 29% from 3 for his career.
